Remember also that God is our one true love. God's Love Never Fails! Keep remembering this and trusting in our Lord and Savior. To God be the Glory!

Someone once told me that if you are a diabetic you must take insulin to feel better. This is no different. The medications out there help you live your life in a better way.
Having someone to talk to when you are suffering is always helpful. Being able to talk to someone that has had anxiety and depression helps because they understand what you are going through. You are shown that you are not alone and you are cared for at all times.
Here at Pella we are hosting two different Anxiety/Depression Support Groups.
The groups are Peer to Peer so your facilitators are people who have gone through what you are going through (not professional counselors).

The Adult group meets on the first and third Mondays of the month at 7:00 p.m. The East door is open on these nights. It is a confidential and relaxed group atmosphere.

The Teen group "Snacks and Chats" meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the basement. (Ages 13-19 years)

Both of these groups are not church related activities and they are open to anyone.
We welcome you to come and join the group of your choice.

If you have any questions, please give the office a call at 433-3350.

<![CDATA[COVID 19 and what was once normal.]]>Thu, 29 Oct 2020 20:43:56 GMThttp://pellachurch.net/blog/covid-19-and-what-was-once-normal I keep hearing people ask when are we going to return to our normal way of life. At this point it doesn't sound like anytime soon.
What is normal anyway? COVID has made me look at life differently and probably most of you too! Spending more quality time with family and relearning how to keep in touch by writing an old fashion letter, sending emails, chatting on Facebook, texting, zoom and the list goes on. Before COVID I was so disappointed with the lack of communication between family and friends. We have all this technology at our finger tips to be able to reach out and talk, but the communications were very slim. It seemed that everyone was so busy being busy and families and friends were losing contact. This pandemic has caused all of us to slow down and really think about what and who are important in our lives. Some people have found that their faith is what keeps them on track during the good and bad times of life. God is the one constant in all of our lives. "He is always there, hearing every prayer, faithful and true" to quote an old song that I know. If you are down or feeling bad, reach out to someone you know or a family member. You never have to be alone. To God be the Glory! Take care and God Bless! cdc
