At the meeting held April 15^th, the Building Committee voted to authorize a contract with Kringen Construction, Inc.  for a total “Guaranteed Maximum Price” (GMP) for this INITIAL phase of $3,048,809.

With the funds we have for this initial project, we were able to include the following alternates:

                Fire suppression system for the entire building, existing and new

                Acoustical ceiling tile in the Assembly area and Music Rehearsal Area

    Acoustical wood ceilings in the Commons and Fellowship Hall

                Sidewalk lighting on the East

                Remodeling of the current Narthex

                Exterior brick for the entire structure

                Staining and finishing for the interior of the new windows 

We were aware that we would not be able to include all the options and that some things would need to be purchased when funds become available in the future. 

Currently this price does not include painting which we are hoping to be able to complete with the help of volunteers. It does include only some vinyl flooring and coving, with the rest being polished and finished concrete.  The kitchen will have electrical and plumbing planned, but other finishes are not included in this price. 

We will be working with the congregation to help with additional planning, such as the kitchen and interior finishes as we move forward.
