Ministries.

Worship – Pella currently has Sunday worship services at 8:00 am. and 10:30 am (Child care for infants and small children is available at the 10:30 am service).  During the summer months we have one service at 9:00 a.m.


Education – Christian Education is very important at Pella. Some of the programs we offer are:

  • Sunday School during September - May for children age 3 through the fifth grade.  Classes for adults are also offered occasionally.

  • Confirmation for young people in grades 6-8 if offered during the school year from late August through May.  We use the "Head to The Heart" program from Faith Inkubators.  First Lutheran Church, Lambert, MT also participates in our "Theme Nights" every two weeks.  We have a LOT of fun in this program as we learn and grow together!

  • For the 2010-2011 education year, we have six adult small groups who meet once each month to study the Bible and discuss Dr. David J. Lose's book Making Sense of Scripture.

 Men’s Ministries

  • Breakfast Fellowship and Bible Study group meets Thursday mornings from 6:30 - 7:30 am at the M & M Cafe.

Women’s Ministries

  • Pella has three "Circles" that meet monthly for Bible Study and Fellowship.

  • Pella has a Quilting Group that meets on Tuesday mornings during September through May to sew quilts for Lutheran World Relief - as well as having a great time together!

Youth Ministries

  • Vacation Day Camp is held for one week during the summer at Pella each year.  Counselors from Upper Missouri Ministries Bible Camp in Epping, ND staff the Day Camp for children who will be in grades 1-6.  A Vacation Bible School (staffed by Pella volunteers) is also held for pre-K and kindergarten age children.  These ministries are open to the community and are provided at no charge.

  • LYO (Lutheran Youth Organization) is for young people in grades 9-12.  They meet approximately every two weeks for fellowship, Bible Study, and service.  They also have a lot of fun together!

Worship and Music Opportunities

  • Chorister Choir for Pre-K through grade 4 children rehearses weekly on Wednesdays from 3:45-4:30 pm

  • Praise ensemble meets each Wednesday, 5:00-6:00 pm.

  • Sanctuary Choir rehearses at 7:15 pm, weekly, from September through May.

  • Hand bell Choir rehearses at 8:15 pm, weekly, from September through May.

Pella Pantry

  • Pella participates in the Richland Country Fair during the first week in August each year by operating the Pella Pantry - where fairgoers can enjoy homemade pies, and meals such as BBQ sandwiches, hamburgers, and hotdogs.
