Prior to that, he served as a Mission Developer for the new congregation of Nativity Lutheran Church in New Albany, Ohio. He has also served Calls in Dayton, Ohio, Pensacola, Florida, Fort Pierce, Florida, and Columbia, South Carolina. Pastor George enjoys people of all ages and is glad to be a part of the Sidney, Montana community. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you with any pastoral needs that you may have! A Message from Pastor George Associate Pastor - Charlane Lines clines@pellachurch.net Pastor Charlane began her ministry as Associate Pastor at Pella Lutheran Church on July 1, 2010. This is her first call after graduating from Pacific Theological Lutheran Seminary in Berkeley, California. Prior to that, she lived in Salem, Oregon. Pastor Charlane has a strong musical background, but enjoys ministry in all areas. We are delighted that she has come to the Sidney community and especially to our congregation of Pella! We look forward to her being with us in the months and years to come! Administrative Assistant - Sandy Nypen snypen@pellachurch.net Sandy has been with us as our Administrative Assistant since March 2006. Her duties include welcoming all who phone or stop by our office, producing "The Ambassador" newsletter, Sunday bulletins and PowerPoint presentations, and in general all of the "stuff" that is necessary to help keep the ministries of our congregation running smoothly. We are blessed to have Sandy as a part of our staff! Parish Assistant - Petra Candee pcandee@pellachurch.net Petra is the "senior" member of our staff - having been Pella's Parish Assistant since October, 2002. Her duties include keeping church records up to date, coordinating our volunteers, and in general welcoming and assisting anyone who calls or stops by. Petra brings a lot of friendly enthusiasm to Pella’s ministry, and we are glad to have her with us! Custodian and Groundskeeper - Ken Vannatta Ken began serving as Pella's groundskeeper in June, 2006 - and also as Pella's custodian in October, 2006 As our groundskeeper, his duties include mowing our lawns and any necessary trimming, and snow and ice removal for our sidewalks and entrances during the winter - and as our custodian he is responsible for all of our interior cleanup and maintenance. We appreciate his service in these areas of our ministry!
